Dear Scrapbookers,
I want to invite you to join me in going Passionately Pink for the Cure®! It’s a great way to fight breast cancer. The cost is only $15 and will include a table in the crop room, breakfast, lunch, supper. Make plans NOW to attend.
All you need to do is wear pink and have fun on October 13, 2012 and help support the life-saving work of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® by making a donation. Together, we can help fund critical breast cancer research, as well as local education, screening and treatment programs that impact people in our community. We will go Passionately Pink by cropping all day at Old St. Paul's Lutheran Church. We will CROP OUT BREAST CANCER.
If you can make a donation, I encourage you to give online. It’s easy! Just go to passionatelypink.org and click on “Find a Team.” Our team name is Crop Out Breast Cancer. Our team ID number is 13591752. When you donate online, you’ll receive an electronic receipt and be able to see how your donation is contributing to our team fundraising goal of $1,500.00.
We will also have a 50/50 drawing and silent auctions. The proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

Our next monthly crop, at Old St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, will be on Friday May 18th,from 6pm-12midnight. It is FREE. Just bring a snack and drink to share. Invite anyone that you like, we have plenty of space. This month we will be cropping, having a jewelry party and then there will be a group of ladies, doing a card class, that will be taught by Koni Dotson. She owns the scrapbook store in Lincolnton. The name of her store is Chic Custom Creations by Scrappy Diva. If anyone of you ladies are also interested in the card class, let me know. I will then let Koni know, so that she can be prepared with all the materials. There will also be Close To My Heart products for sale!!
The name of the jewelry is “Just Jewelry”. Allison Leatherman is the consultant for the jewelry. No one has to take part in any of the classes or parties that will be taking place. I just wanted to inform everyone that this month will be a little different. Just come out that night to crop and have some fun.
